2014 Hartford Marathon - Race Results

Another year of the Hartford Marathon is in the books, and you can find the race results here for both the marathon and half marathon. The top men's finisher in the marathon was Matt Pelletier at 2:17:01, while the Erica Jesseman won the women's race in 2:41:00.

The results page shows you these leaders and more, and you can also see results by name, bib number, age group, etc., as well as the men's and women's disabled athletes in marathon and half marathon, the 5K race, and the marathon relay.

All races took place Saturday, Oct. 11th.

The 2014 Chicago Marathon takes place Sunday, Oct. 12th, and here are some details you'll want to know to be fully prepared for the race.

First off, you'll want to sign up for runner tracking. This lets you have your split times posted to your Twitter feed or Facebook account, or sent to your mobile phone as text messages. And get familiar with the Chicago Marathon course, race rules, aid stations, and more:

The 2014 Long Island Divas Half Marathon is taking place Sunday, Oct. 5th. It looks like great, clear weather for the race, and once it's over (or maybe as soon as it's underway) you should be able to find the race results here. (You can find a link to race photos here.)

The 5K race starts at 7:45 a.m. and the half marathon steps off at 8:05. See the race details page for information on getting to the start at Eisenhower Park,

Note: Nike has announced that it will not be holding a women's half marathon in 2015. It says it will reveal a new location for the race in the fall, which could mean any day now. You can find out more about this change here.

There's a cool nip in the air, stores are filled with pumpkin-spice-everything, and the 2014 Rock & Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon is here: all sure signs of autumn. This year's race is Sunday, Sept. 21st (with the 5K the day before). See the links below for details you'll need to know before the race.

The half marathon starts at 8 a.m. at Benjamin Franklin Parkway, west of 22nd Street, and ends at the Eakins Oval, Fairmount Park. The race health and fitness expo is being held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Hall E, from 12 Noon to 7 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
