2017 Western States Endurance Run (WSER) - Watch Live Webcast & More

If you're an ultrarunner, the place to be the last weekend in June is the grueling Western States Endurance Run (WSER) in California. Starting in Squaw Valley, home to the 1960 Winter Olympics, the race ends 100 miles later in Auburn, California, a unique test of the human body and spirit.

The 2017 Western States takes place June 24th and 25th, and here are some key links to live coverage, updates, and news about the race:

2015 Western States Endurance Run (WSER) - See Live Results, Video, & More

For ultrarunners, the last weekend in June means the two-day ordeal known as the Western States Endurance Run (WSER). The 2015 Western States is taking place June 26 and 27th, and here are a few places to find live coverage, updates, and news:

2014 Western States - Webcast & Live Webcam

Saturday, June 28th marks the start of annual running of the Western States Endurance Run (WSER), the grueling 100-mile ultra that begins in Squaw Valley, California. The event began at 8 a.m. Pacific time, and you can follow along via the webcast and live webcam. (Note: webcam may or may not be showing anything, depending on when you visit it. The page says it will display updates every hour)

The Western States webcast will show you current results that you can customize for various options, such as overall leaders, top men, top women, leaders by checkpoint, etc. You can also create a list of favorites of runners you want to keep tabs on.
