2015 Rock & Roll San Antonio Marathon & Half - Race Results

Congrats to all participants in this weekend's 2015 Rock & Roll San Antonio Marathon and half marathon. Finisher times and photos are in, and the quickest way to find race results is to go to the results page and enter your bib number. Much of the attention was on the half marathon, with would-be Olympians looking to tune up before the marathon trials in Los Angeles and the Olympics in Rio next this year. The American women were especially strong in San Antonio, with Kara Goucher rocking to the finish in a time of 71:10.  Canada's Sasha Gollish finished second in 72:35 (an amazing 9-minute PR for her), and two more top Americans, Shalane Flanagan and Amy Hastings, crossing the finish together in 72:42.

2015 Cherry Blossom 10-Mile Run* -- Race Results

Congrats to all who ran the annual Credit Union Cherry Blossom races today in Washington, D.C. The marquee event, of course, is the Cherry Blossom 10-Mile Run, but we had to put an asterisk next to it in the title of this post for one simple reason: today's race was more of a 9.5 miler.

As the results page notes, "Due to an emergency, the course was modified and was less than 10 miles. The exact distance will be posted here and results will be modified to the correct distances." The upside is that runners probably set new PRs for the 9.5-mile distance.

You'll find the results page here, or see below for specific results:
Let's hope that whatever emergency occurred in D.C. didn't ruin the runners' day, aside from making the course less than 10 full miles.
