2009 Peachtree Road Race... Trouble Getting on ajc.com/peachtree Resolved

Registration opened today for the 2009 Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta, and glitches immediately popped up with the online registration process. The home page for Peachtree, www.AJC.com/peachtree, now seems to be working. The Peachtree Road Race takes place on the Fourth of July.

From an article on the Peachtree site:
"Online registration for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race, which opened at 7 a.m. Sunday, is continuing after initial technical issues.

Those issues were resolved shortly after 9 a.m., according to the Atlanta Track Club, and registration is proceeding until 45,000 entries have been received."

The article notes that printed entries will be in the Sunday, March 22, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "But only the final 10,000 entrants using that method will gain entry to the race, selected at random from forms postmarked by March 31."

Race entry is also possible by entering in a competition to choose the t-shirt design for the Peachtree Road Race.

Good luck with your entries!
