If you're interested in the 2013 Boston Marathon you probably already know this, but registration for the race opened today at 10 a.m. Eastern. All registration will be done online at baa.org. The 117th Boston Marathon will take place Monday, April 15th.
Once again, the Boston Marathon will have a rolling admission schedule, with the fastest qualifiers able to register first, and the next-fastest after that.
Here's part of the an official notice from the BAA website, posted a few days ago:
"Registration will occur on a “rolling admission” schedule,
beginning with the fastest qualifiers. On Monday, September 10, eligible
runners who have met the qualifying standards for their age and gender
group by 20 minutes or more may register. On Wednesday, September 12 at
10:00 a.m. ET, if space remains, registration will open for those who
have met their qualifying standards by 10 minutes or more. If space
remains, registration will open on Friday, September 14 at 10:00 a.m. ET
for those who have met their qualifying standards by five minutes or
more."
You can read the entire notice here.
Let's see how long registration actually remains open.
Good luck to all entrants!
