The ever-expanding NYCRuns introduced another race into the City's running history last weekend with the Central Park Marathon and Half Marathon, and you can find the results below.
The group created the immensely popular Brooklyn Marathon and has added a number of other races of varying sizes and distances in the NYC metro area. With the Central Park Marathon, it helped fill the void left by the cancellation of November's New York City Marathon with a 26.2 race held entirely in Central Park's borders (the same way the NYC Marathon began). And this event added a half marathon to boot. (I wanted to run the latter, but unfortunately urgent family business had me out of town.)
Here's a write-up on the races from the NYCRuns website.
Results for Sunday's inaugural Central Park Marathon and Half Marathon:

Congrats to all participants! I hope to be one of them next year.
