2014 Spring Lake 5 - Race Results

It wasn't exactly summery weather for this year's running of The Spring Lake 5, the Jersey Shore's traditional kick-off to the season, but the cool temps and overcast skies made for perfect running conditions. The 10,000-participant race felt even larger today, and it took a couple of miles to pass the slower runners (and walkers)--clearly many people started further up in the pack than their pace dictated.

The sun finally did make an appearance in the afternoon, and the shops along 3rd Avenue seemed to be getting a lot of visitors for such an unseasonably cool day.

Congratulations to all participants, and check back with the Spring Lake 5 website periodically for when the sign-up will begin for the 2015 race (typically in January or February).
