2014 Western States - Webcast & Live Webcam

Saturday, June 28th marks the start of annual running of the Western States Endurance Run (WSER), the grueling 100-mile ultra that begins in Squaw Valley, California. The event began at 8 a.m. Pacific time, and you can follow along via the webcast and live webcam. (Note: webcam may or may not be showing anything, depending on when you visit it. The page says it will display updates every hour)

The Western States webcast will show you current results that you can customize for various options, such as overall leaders, top men, top women, leaders by checkpoint, etc. You can also create a list of favorites of runners you want to keep tabs on.

If you're on social media, check WSER updates and commentary on sites such as Twitter and Facebook by searching for the hashtags #WS100 or #WSER100. The official WSER Twitter account is twitter.com/wser100 (@wser100) and you can also check its Facebook page.

Good luck to everyone in this weekend's Western States, and run smart!
