UPDATE: Today's half marathon was also the USA championship for men and women, giving elite and would-be-elite athletes a chance to post a good time before the Olympic trials for Rio 2016. The top man and woman, respectively, were Diego Estrada (60:51) and Kim Conley (69:44). See more about the half marathon championship at LetsRun.com.

2012 Chevron Houston Marathon - Live Race Results
You'll find live searchable results for today's 2012 Houston Marathon here. Although final results don't seem to be online yet, you can use this searchable results page to find runner in the marathon or half, view scrolling results, see a map of the course of either race, and more.

2012 Houston Marathon & Men's & Women's Olympic Trials - Runner Tracking & More

All eyes in the running world are on Houston this weekend as the city hosts both the men's and women's Olympic marathon trials, as well as holding its annual Houston Marathon and related races.
The Olympic events will take place Saturday, Jan. 14th, and the USATF announced the other day that the marathon trials will be televised on NBC. The catch is that the broadcast will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Eastern time, and the races are held in the morning (men at 8 a.m.; women at 8:15). So the trials will be shown on tape delay, and obviously only part of each race will be shown.
It's better than no coverage at all, of course, though the buzz on the Internet is why the trials couldn't have been streamed online.
The USATF says that 150 men and 194 women will be running in Saturday's marathon trials, which will determine the three men and three women who'll represent the U.S. in the London Olympic marathon this summer. The 2011 Chevron Houston Marathon takes place Jan. 30th. According to the race website, there's a good chance of rain and thunderstorms, and the race will be run under "yellow flag conditions" due to the threat of lightning.

There are several ways to track runners: you can sign up to get athlete alerts and receive updates on your mobile phone; receive searchable race results and interactive map tracking; or try Fast Society, a private mobile group chat.
