2010 Beach to Beacon 10K results have been posted. A longtime summer tradition in Maine, the annual Beach to Beacon race took place this year on August 7th. At the official results page below you'll find overall results as well as results for different age groups, wheelchair division, team race results, and more. You'll also find results for the top Maine men and women in the 2010 Beach to Beacon.
Gebre Gebremariam of Ethiopia won the men's title, while Lineth Chepkurui of Kenya won the women's division.

Beach to Beacon 2010 - Registration Opens March 13th
General registration for the 2010 Beach to Beacon 10K race opens tomorrow, Saturday March 13th, at 8 a.m. EST. The Beach to Beacon race takes place on August 7th in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Registration for Cape Elizabeth residents only is now closed (they had a 24-hour window in which they could register before anyone else).
If you get shut out because the race has reached capacity, there's always the lottery. As the site says:
"[Lottery] Registration Opens when capacity is reached and closes Sunday, March 21 at Midnight EST. Lottery winners will be chosen Monday, March 22, 2010 and notified via email."

2008 Beach to Beacon 10K Run - Registration Open
Registration for the 2008 Beach to Beacon 10K Run is now open! This race takes place August 2, 2008 along the beautiful, rocky coast of Maine, beginning in Cape Elizabeth. The race's Web site says that there is no paper registration this year, so head on over the the Web site to get details and to register.
The race starts at Crescent Beach and ends at Portland Head Light, the nation's first commissioned lighthouse. The Web site has a course map and elevation information.
