The 2016 Pittsburgh Marathon is in the books, and thousands of runners braved the rain to finish the marathon, half marathon, and marathon relay on Sunday.

The soggy Pittsburgh Marathon results have been posted, which you can peruse from the comfort of your home, plane, or hotel room (hopefully, very dry). You can also find the results of the other races that took place yesterday, as well as Saturday's event, the 5K walk, the kids' marathon, and the pet walk.

Congrats to all who persevered through the wet conditions on Sunday, and who participated all the events of the 2016 Pittsburgh Marathon weekend.

Almost 30,000 runners will take to the streets in Sunday's 2015 Pittsburgh Marathon. Here are a couple of links to important information you'll want for the race:

• race day info including transportation, parking, gear check, aid stations, and more
• Pittsburgh Marathon runner tracking: gives you updates on runners at 10K, 9.2 miles, and finish line for the half, and 10K, 9.2 miles, 13.1 miles, 24 miles, and finish for the marathon. Enter the runner's number and then choose the method (text, email, or Twitter) you want to receive your runner updates. 
• mobile app downloads: get the official 2015 Pittsburgh Marathon apps for Android or iOS

The marathon, half marathon, and marathon relay all begin at 7 a.m. Sunday, May 3rd.

We'll post links to results and live results (if available) as they become available Sunday morning. NOTE: The Pittsburgh Marathon website says the following about race results:

• Race results will be available through the official mobile App as soon you cross the finish line.
• Runners can scan the QR code located on their race number with their smart phone to find their time.
• Unofficial race results will be available on race day at PittsburghMarathon.com and emailed to all finishers.
• Once race results are deemed official, all official finishers will be emailed with a link to their digital finisher’s certificate indicating net time, pace per mile and finish place; the certificate also will be available for download at PittsburghMarathon.com.

2014 Pittsburgh 10 Miler - [RESULTS] Mobile App, Runner Tracking, & More

It's time for the 2014 Pittsburgh 10 Miler, and this year elite runners Ryan and Sara Hall will be running the race along with you. Here are some links to vital information to know if you're running (or watching) the race:

• sign up for live runner tracking 
• get the mobile app for iOS and Android 
• learn about road detours and closings for the marathon  
• check out the course map (PDF), with fluid stations marked
• find out about packet pickup and in-person race registration
• look up race results after it's over (update: click on "Results" to see 2014 race results)

Runners will travel through some of Pittsburgh's best-known neighborhoods, including the West End, North Side, and Strip District, as well as downtown, where the race finishes.
