More than 40 bands will be lining the course, according to 10News.com, which also mentions the following about road closures:
"Southbound state Route 163, between Interstate 805 and downtown, will be closed from 2 a.m. until noon. There will also be several freeway off-ramp closures on interstate 5, Interstate 8 and state Route 163." (But see the road closures page above for more information.)

San Diego Rock & Roll 5.31.09 - My first one. The pain after was unbelievable especially after having to walk another mile to the streets after the finish. Rock & Roll marathons are great first marathons.
