UPDATE: The 2010 NYC Tri sold out in less than two hours (maybe a lot less). But the site notes that,

The 2010 New York Triathlon takes place on July 18th, 2010. About the event:

"The Nautica New York City Triathlon consists of a 1500 meter point-to-point swim in the Hudson River, a 40K bike on the challenging Henry Hudson Highway and a scenic 10K run that finishes in Central Park. All athletes will follow the same course as part of either the Pro Race, the Elite Age Group Race, or the Age Group Race."

2009 New York City Marathon - Street and Bridge Closings for the Race

Driving in New York City is a challenge under the best of circumstances, and the NYC Marathon means numerous street and bridge closings throughout the five boroughs.

The Marine Corps Marathon in Washington D.C. is a highlight of the road racing calendar. 2009 Chicago Marathon - Race Results & Live Leaderboard

Results for the 2009 Chicago Marathon are up. You can search for runners, view the live leaderboard, or check out a list of "My Runners" (assuming you've input runners you want to follow).

There are three options for results to view: marathon, wheelchair, and handcycle.

2009 Baltimore Marathon - Race Results

2009 Twin Cities Marathon - Results & Runner Tracking

The 2009 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon took place Oct. 4th and results are in. You can find runner tracking here.

You may be able to find results for the 5K, 10K, 10-mile championship at these sites as well as results for 2009 Twin Cities Marathon. If you can't, go to the event's home page for links to results.

2009 Grete's Great Gallop Race Results (Norwegian Festival), Central Park

If you didn't get to check your results posted in Central Park this morning, or you want to see where you stacked up against the field, you can see the results of the 2009 Grete's Great Gallop half-marathon here. (I didn't see my results in the Park because, well, I was pretty far down in the results and they hadn't posted that page yet. On the plus side, I hadn't run a half in several years and really had no business running one in the shape I'm in, but it was good to get it in the books.)

The weather held up for the race (running 13.1 miles in the rain is no fun at all), and the Norwegian hosts of the festival once again plied visitors with bagels with lox and cream cheese and those tasty waffles with berries. And Grete Waitz herself was again on hand, looking great for someone who had cancer a few years ago. Long may she run!
