Tomorrow is the day for the popular Cooper River Bridge Run in Charleston, South Carolina. The event features a 10K and a kids' run, and the field for the 10K is filled at more than 38,000 participants. The Cooper River Bridge Run is known for its course, which crosse the two-and-a-half-mile Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge.

2010 L.A Marathon Results

The L.A. Marathon results page is here - but it's been down much of the day, presumably because it's been swamped with traffic from runners trying to get their times. That page has a link to another L.A. Marathon results page, which has a bare-bones "provisional results" search: a simple search box that lets you look up runners by last name or bib number.

I guess at some point this second page will be expanded to show other search options, or the original results page will be beefed up so it can handle the traffic. You can also check the L.A. Marathon home page for further info.

2010 NYC Half Marathon Results

2010 NYC Half Marathon results have been posted here at the official New York Road Runners Web site. As usual, you can search for runners by name and bib number, or view results by gender, age group, team, etc. The race was held in the streets of Manhattan this morning under glorious, sunny skies.

Congrats to all finishers of the 2010 NYC Half Marathon, especially my New York-area running friends!

Results for the 2010 National Marathon in Washington, D.C. have been posted. (The National Marathon Web site notes that these are unofficial results.) The half marathon results are posted here, and the National Marathon relay results are posted too.

Beach to Beacon 2010 - Registration Opens March 13th

General registration for the 2010 Beach to Beacon 10K race opens tomorrow, Saturday March 13th, at 8 a.m. EST. The Beach to Beacon race takes place on August 7th in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Registration for Cape Elizabeth residents only is now closed (they had a 24-hour window in which they could register before anyone else).

If you get shut out because the race has reached capacity, there's always the lottery. As the site says:

"[Lottery] Registration Opens when capacity is reached and closes Sunday, March 21 at Midnight EST. Lottery winners will be chosen Monday, March 22, 2010 and notified via email."
