It's expected to be a hot one for Sunday's L.A. Marathon, and here are some tips and details to know if you're running the race.

Because of the unusually warm weather forecast for race day, organizers have moved the start time up to 6:55 a.m. from the 7:25 time shows in the race's PDF of Final Race Instructions and elsewhere on the website.

Husband-and-wife runners Ryan and Sara Hall will both be running the Marathon this year.

The L.A. Marathon features a sightseers' dream of famous attractions, from Dodger Stadium to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Sunset Strip, and the Santa Monica Pier. Check out the information above and you'll be prepared for race day. And be sure to hydrate and run safely in the hot, muggy weather.

2014 L.A. Marathon - Results

L.A. Marathon results are in; click on the link to enter a runner's name or bib number to see them. If your runner is still on the course, click here for live results.

Gebo Burka of Ethiopia won the men's division of today's L.A. Marathon, while countrywoman Amane Gobena came in first in the women's race.

2012 L.A. Marathon - Results Page, Course Map, & More

The annual Los Angeles Marathon takes place today, March 18th, and you can find results and other information about the race at its home page, www.lamarathon.com -- if you can get through to the website, that is. Maybe it's the predicted rain, or maybe it's just heavy traffic to the website, but the L.A. Marathon site has been returning "database error" messages and other glitches Sunday morning and afternoon.

2010 L.A Marathon Results

The L.A. Marathon results page is here - but it's been down much of the day, presumably because it's been swamped with traffic from runners trying to get their times. That page has a link to another L.A. Marathon results page, which has a bare-bones "provisional results" search: a simple search box that lets you look up runners by last name or bib number.

I guess at some point this second page will be expanded to show other search options, or the original results page will be beefed up so it can handle the traffic. You can also check the L.A. Marathon home page for further info.

2008 L.A. Marathon - RACE RESULTS

The L.A. Marathon race results page has been updated with results for the 2008 running of the Los Angeles Marathon -- click here.

At this time (3:30 Eastern time Sunday) there is a live link only for the marathon times. Maybe later they'll have a link up for the 5K race. This page also has links where you can view results for previous years of the L.A. Marathon and the 5K.
