The 2011 Honda L.A. Marathon takes place tomorrow, March 20th, and here are links to key information:

Runner tracking: Keep up with friends or family members on the L.A. Marathon course with this tracking feature, which will send out updates as runners cross certain points in the race

Course maps: Includes a printable version of the course map (with elevation profile), a detailed street map, and turn-by-turn directions.

FAQs: Check the frequently asked questions for details on start times, bag check, location of fluid stations, and more.

L.A. Marathon parking and shuttles: Parking and driving can be thorny issues in Los Angeles even on regular days, so make sure you read these instructions. Runners should park near the finish line in Santa Monica (see how to reserve a spot) and take a shuttle bus to the starting line at Dodger Stadium.

Race results: You'll find last year's results at this link; this year's L.A. Marathon race results may or may not be posted here, but this is a good first place to check. (I'll post a direct results link if I come across one.)

Social media: For up-to-date details, you can follow the L.A. Marathon on Twitter and on Facebook.

The L.A. Marathon has an amazing course: it starts at Dodger Stadium and ends at the Santa Monica Pier, and in between runs through many L.A. neighborhoods, taking you past many iconic landmarks: the Capitol Records tower, Little Tokyo, the Dorothy Chandler Music Center, Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Troubadour and the Whiskey A Go Go, Rodeo Drive, and more.

Good luck to all runners!
