The top male finisher was Pete Jacobs of Australia in 8:18:37. The top female finisher was Leanda Cave of the U.S. in 9:15:54. You can see all the finishers (including breakdowns by gender, age group, etc.), and search for individual athletes, at kona.ironman.com/tracker.html.
The 2012 Ironman World Championship telecast (edited to two hours) will be shown on NBC Sport on
Saturday, October 27th. The special will air from 4 to 6 p.m. ET, but check your local TV
listings to be sure.
