It's been 30 years since the first California International Marathon, and the 2013 edition takes place December 8th. Tracing the route used by gold miners in 1849, the race finishes by the state capitol in Sacramento. Here are links to some important information on the California International Marathon:

The 2012 California International Marathon is this Sunday, Dec. 2nd in Sacramento, and you can find some must-know details about the race below.

Unfortunately, rain is predicted for race day, so come to the race prepared. (The race website has a section of tips for running in the rain.) Let's hope the rain isn't too heavy and that runners can enjoy the 2012 California International Marathon.
