Thousands of runners will take to the streets of Philadelphia Sunday, May 1st in 2016 Broad Street Run. Whether you're running or watching, get up to speed with all you need to know about the race with these links to essential information:

The website lists a mobile app you can download, but the link to the iOS app says it "can't be downloaded in your country" (the U.S.), and the link to the Android app gives a similar message. We did find this link to the Android app. 

The site doesn't seem to list any other options for tracking runners, but we'll note it here if we run across it.

2016 Miami Marathon: [RESULTS] Runner Tracking, Course Maps, & More

There may be a blizzard hitting the East Coast, but the 2016 Miami Marathon will be thankfully free of such distractions when the race steps off on Sunday, January 24th. See the links below for details on runner tracking, course maps, directions, and more.

The 2015 Army Ten Miler takes place on Sunday, Oct. 11th in the streets of Washington, D.C. While the race's website notes that unofficial race results will be posted on the results page by 2 p.m. race day, you can find live race results here once the race is underway.

Spring has finally come to the Northeast U.S., and one of the prime harbingers of the season arrives Sunday, May 3rd in Philadelphia's annual 10-mile Broad Street Run. Here are some details you'll want to know for the race:

What will the weather be like in Philly on Sunday? PhillyWX posted a map on its Facebook page, with the comment, "It's going to be mostly sunny, mild, with race temperatures warming from the 50's at 8 AM into the low (or mid, depending on your pace) 60's by the time you're stumbling over the finish line."

One of the most popular 10-mile races in the U.S., the Army Ten Miler attracts elite athletes as well as thousands of casual athletes to the streets of Washington, D.C. This year's race was held Oct. 12th, and you'll find the 2014 Army Ten Miler results here.

This year's men's winner was Solonei Da Silva of Washington, D.C. in a time of 48:28. For the women, the top finisher was Arlington, Virginia's Kerry Gallagher in 54:50.

In case you're thinking of running next year's Army Ten Miler, it will take place October 11th, 2015. Here's a PDF of the 2014 course, if you want to get an idea at the general area the race covers.

It's been 30 years since the first California International Marathon, and the 2013 edition takes place December 8th. The 2012 California International Marathon is this Sunday, Dec. 2nd in Sacramento, and you can find some must-know details about the race below.

More than 20,000 runners will be earning the title of "runner of steel" at the 2012 Pittsburgh Marathon, which takes place Sunday, May 6th. You find links to some of the key information you need to know below, or at the race's website, www.pittsburghmarathon.com.

The 2011 Marine Corps Marathon weekend is proceeding on schedule, in spite of an early snowstorm on the East Coast. From the expo to the post-race finish festival, there's a full weekend of events, but here are some key links to info you'll want to know for the main event, the Marine Corps Marathon, and other running events.

If you're running (or watching) the 2011 Chicago Marathon, here is some must-now information you'll want to have. This year's race takes place Sunday, Oct. 9th.

According to the Chicago Marathon website, temperatures are forecast to be in the upper 50s in the morning and in the mid to upper 70s in the afternoon. 2008 Arizona Desert Classic Marathon

The Arizona Road Racers present the 2008 Desert Classic Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K race, and two-mile fun run on February 2, 2008. The races start and finish at Riverboat Village, 18300 West Bell Road in Surprise. The marathon and half marathon races have a 7:00 a.m. start, but a 6:00 a.m. start is available if you notify the race director before race day. The 5K and two-mile runs start at 7:20 a.m. The marathon features aid stations every two miles.

2008 Carlsbad Marathon and Half Marathon

The 2008 Carlsbad Marathon and Half Marathon take place on Sunday, January 20th. Get all the information you need to run the races, or watch them, or track runners, at the official Web site.
The 2008 Carlsbad Marathon starts and finishes at the Westfield Plaza Camino Real in Carlsbad, California.

The site also has a page where you can find the official course details for the 2008 Carlsbad Marathon, including a course map, profile, and elevation. The page also gives you a turn-by-turn narrative of the course.

The site says that the marathon has a rolling course, much of it along the Pacific Ocean. The highest point of of the course is 308 feet, which runners will encounter betweenmiles 5 and 9.

These tools let you be fully prepared for the 2008 Carlsbad Marathon, whether you're running or watching.
