The 31st annual Duke City Marathon takes place Sunday, Oct. 19th, and here are some essential details to know for Albuquerque's long-running series of races. First off, it is a series of races, now including a marathon relay, half marathon, 10K run, 10K walk, 5K run, and 5K walk—all taking place the same day.
Next thing to know if that registration is still open online, and it will stay open until 6 a.m. Sunday. And you can register the day of the race, which has not been the case in past years. Also new this year is that half marathon finishers will receive medals (something I wish I'd gotten the two years I ran the Duke City half).
Below are links to details for the marathon. See the Duke City Marathon home page for course maps, etc. for the other races.
