The New Jersey Marathon and Half Marathon take place Sunday, May 6th, and here are some links to information you'll want to know.

* Start times: "New Jersey Marathon: wheelchair athletes will start @ 8:00am, followed in waves by the rest of the field in their assigned corrals. Long Branch Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay: wheelchair athletes will start @ 6:50am, followed in waves by the rest of the field as they head out in their corrals.'
Both the marathon and half marathon start in Monmouth Park, on Park Rd. at 175 Oceanport Ave., Oceanport, NJ.

NJ MARATHON 2012 finisher
there are limited ocean view, mostly toward the end,, there is chaos in getting to the start - HUGE traffic dealy, several friends missed the start of the 1/2 - sat in traffic for over an hour,, the course runs through sad depressed looking neighborhoods, reminds you of the income gap btwn uber-wealthy and the uber-poor,, course is fast and flat good for making boston times
